About Jean-pierre
Jean-Pierre (JP) Bouchard is an associate and Registered Patent Agent at Arcade, specializing in patent prosecution and IP litigation. He holds a law degree from Queen’s University along with a degree in mechanical engineering, with extensive hands-on industry experience in bearing and power transmission systems.
JP advises clients on patent searching, drafting, and filing, along with trademark and copyright enforcement. His litigation work includes IP disputes, confidentiality breaches, and brand protection.
A former varsity volleyball player at Queen’s, JP stays competitive off the court as well, playing competitive tennis, squash, and hockey. Fluent in English and French, JP serves his clients in both languages.
