ABOUT ALESSANDRO
Alessandro Colonnier is a lawyer, patent agent, and trademark agent at Arcade, with a B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa and a law degree from La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia. His technical expertise covers communication networks, digital signal processing, antennas, and artificial intelligence (AI) systems.
Alessandro specializes in patent searching, drafting, and prosecution, as well as IP litigation, trademark enforcement, and domain name disputes. He also advises on corporate law and governance, ensuring businesses structure their IP assets strategically.
Beyond Arcade, Alessandro serves as an adjudicator for Resolutions Canada Inc., overseeing .ca domain name disputes. Fluent in English, French, and Italian, he works with clients in multiple markets. When not securing IP, he’s traveling, skiing, or playing ultimate frisbee.
